With the car
Ghent is located at the intersection of the E17 and E40 highways. From the E17, take the exit 'Gent Centrum'. From the E40, follow the direction towards Antwerp (E17), and then take the exit 'Gent Centrum'.
Follow the road towards 'Zuid', take the exit at the roundabout 'Sint-Anna', and then take the 4th exit onto Keizer Karelstraat. Just before the bridge, turn left towards the public parking 'De Reep', which is a 5-minute walk from there, or drop off your luggage first (after the bridge, take the second street on the left). Our guesthouse is the corner building on the left side.
IMPORTANT: Ghent has a LEZ (Low Emission Zone). Check here to see if your car is allowed to enter. If your car is allowed and does not have a Belgian or Dutch license plate, register your vehicle to avoid a fine.
PLEASE NOTE: Ghent has a circulation plan. Sometimes you will need to take a significant detour to reach a nearby street.
With the bus
Bus Bus 5a, 5b, 6, 55 and 56 stop near our guesthouse. Get off at stop ‘Sint-Jacobs or “De Reep”. Our guest house is located between these two stops. View timings here.
With the train
Ghent has two train stations: Gent-Sint-Pieters and Gent-Dampoort. Gent-Sint-Pieters is the largest and most accessible, while Gent-Dampoort is closer to our guesthouse.
From Gent-Dampoort, it is a 10-minute walk to our guesthouse.
From Gent-Sint-Pieters, it is a 30-minute walk to our guesthouse. Alternatively, you can take a train to Gent-Dampoort, or opt for a bus or tram.
With the tram
T1 & T3 stop in the neighbourhood of our guesthouse
T1: take T1 towards ‘Gentbrugge Tramloods’ and get off at the ‘Gent-Vogelmarkt’ stop, after which it is an 11-minute walk.
T3: take T3 towards ‘Gentbrugge Moscou’ and get off at the ‘Gent-Vogelmarkt’ stop, after which it is a 7-minute walk.
